I tried that and the fork of it, but I saw that it is more adapted to
Python conferences. The fork is under an open source license but no well
known (only an own declaration). I tried both out and found out that the
first one is only usable for PyCon and the latter one is currently
missing some essential functionality (because the necessary module was
not migrated yet). Because I'm currently not familiar with Django I
can't do the development of the necessary moduls.

I'm currently working at an add-on for Plone that I migrated from an
example.conference-add-on. If somebody wants to help me in adding the
missing features please ping me. I use for the test of my changes an
instance on a Document Foundation resource. You could find them here:
http://vm5.documentfoundation.org:9090/conference2/libreoffice-conference-2012
http://vm5.documentfoundation.org:9090/conference/libreoffice-conference

The dates on the sites are only dummies for live testing.

We need also a layout for the site. If someone creates a mockup or a
static html-template with css-stylesheet would be great.

Regards,
Andreas
