I got understood, and guess that also may occur on other TDF sites such as ask.libreoffice.org once it launches multiple language support. So postoponing any deployment of translations sounds reasonable until the volunteer team starts working as you suggest. BTW about tentative support, feel free to count me in for Japanese language.
