That above link is meant to be added to the gmail webinterface via Settings → Gadgets → add gadgets by URL (to get this item, you have to enable the "add gadgets by URL" lab extension) If you want to try it outside of gmail, either use the referenced widget itself (i.e. what gmail would display: http://www.libreoffice.org/mod/gmail or the version that is a little more verbose: http://www.libreoffice.org/mod The last one is of not so much use anymore. Previously the widget did automatically translate the decoded message to english, and the page would display both the original text as well as the translation. But google does no longer proivde the api free of charge, so the widget has been converted to use google's website-translation feature.
