It is not that easy to fix, as the description entries are not uniform
across the various feeds, and planet aggregator does no normalizing... So
either you get double-escaping, or you fail to include the HTML.
The planet itself already has the problem, basically it is broken feeds
that get syndicated.

It is almost impossible to get this right - since when would you know
whether it is OK to interpret "escaped" html as actual HTML?
And it is also hard to reproduce, as the broken feeds are only online for a
couple of days before they get replaced by newer entries...

But I'll have a look and check what can be done...

The code that does the parsing is on github btw
