Recent discussion on the Ask site[1] has suggested a couple of different improvements we could make to the New Question interface.
@ROSt52 noted that he frequently sees q's on the Ask site in which the first posted Answer is "which OS and/or which LibO version [are you using?]". He proposes "adding one additional step between clicking "Ask Your Question" and the opening of the window to write the question, where this additional steps requires selection of OS and LibO version." I'm not sure that we could easily add a new page to collect OS and LibreOffice version, but I suggested that what we could do is change some of the text that is displayed when the user is entering a question. What do people think about asking a user to tag his question with OS and LO version #'s? We could provide a list of the most common OSes, and a short blurb on how to find the version number of the currently-installed LibreOffice.
