because we had a very open policy for our extensions- and templates-websites many people created an account on the two sites. There were a big number of accounts that has never been used so far. We had about more than 6000 accounts on the templates site and worked in a team of three admins to cut them down dramatically. We are working on the extensions site now. We started with about nearly 7000 accounts and are currently at an amount of 5500 accounts. We had to delete the accounts in the interface currently manually because there is no special tool available for this work.
