https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67402
Priority: medium
Bug ID: 67402
CC: [email protected]
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: OSX PowerPC not supported as platform, but still
defined as supported
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Mac OS X (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 4.1.0.4 release
Component: WWW
Product: LibreOffice
In 4.1 feature request:
https://www.libreoffice.org/download/4-1-new-features-and-fixes there is info:
"Support for Mac OS X for PowerPC has been dropped." which is OK.
But on system requirements web site:
https://www.libreoffice.org/download/system-requirements/ in Macintosh section
there is still listed "Intel or PowerPC processor" as supported platform.
PowerPC is not supported in 4.1. There should probably be info that PowerPC is
not supported and users interested in using LibreOffice on PowerPC should use
older version of LibreOffice 3.6.x or 4.0.x.
