This is a new thread stemming from the Website Redesign topic. In the description of the new top menus and section, there's the question of the home page. Specifically, we'd like to have some live content on the homepage. Of course, there's the official blog and the twitter account (as soon as we're getting this odd account fixed); but we also have a TDF Planet.
But besides that, there's multilingual content for the TDF Planet, and there could be (while this is out of scope for the website project strictly speaking), blogs about QA or development. My feeling is that as long as we maintain a specific space for the official announcements (the blog) and the twitter feed, we ought to integrate and stream all the rest. I have no clear idea on how to do this but we could end up doing one subsection on the front page with the official announcement; another one for twitter. A third one (it could look like a news ticker - is it possible?) could be precisely a multilingual TDF planet. Thoughts? Thank you, -- Charles-H.
