I am uploading the NA-DVD .iso files [4.1.5 and 4.2.1] to the proper
folder [hopefully], so they can be pushed to the mirrors.
I must apologize for not having 4.1.5 ready before hand and skipping 4.2.0.
Due to extended health reasons, I had to "slow down" with the North
American Community DVD project and making the .iso files for the DVD
download pages.
I was working on "more local" things and never really had the needed
time to do the work I wanted/needed to do for the NA-DVD .iso project.
So now, uploading all night, are the .iso and the md5sum files for both
the 4.1.5 and 4.2.1 .iso DVDs. That is 8 GB or 7.4 GB, depending on how
you look at the file sizes totaled - i.e. Caja/Files vs. K3b size stats.
Today, I took a few long time file name issues and made them work for
the Joliet CD/DVD file system compliant so there would be no issues with
Windows and its file explorer in the future. It seemed to work on some
Windows systems and not others. Since I use Linux to create these DVDs,
the new K3b version that I am using seems to have trouble with creating
a proper Windows readable file structure. Not all the time, but enough
that it was a pain. I have figured out the "work around" and made the
changes to the DVDs so, hopefully, there will not be any more issues.
SO
hopefully, in a few days or a week, the .iso files will be pushed to the
mirrors. That all depends on the schedule of that operation.
