Oh, indeed there is a
return 301 $scheme://de.libreoffice.org$request_uri;
in the .com (and other domains) server entry - that of course should
have been www.libreoffice.org → fixed.
Note: since it was a permanent redirect, your browser might have
cached the result, so clear your cache or check with curl to verify
:-)
