Ok, I don't need to make further edits now.
How will I go to make it public? The only choice is to click "Submit for
publication". (Holding me back now)
When I click it does it always go into an uneditable pending state?
Until it is proved by somebody?
Can't remember how it went for the earlier extensions. They are now
public and I can edit them.
