As a test, a new module has been uploaded to the newdesign.libreoffice.org website adding a new Maps feature. This feature gives the possibility of creating a page holding a map where users (without requiring any access to the CMS) can add an entry to the map. Such a map can be used for various uses, such as to show events, show the global nature of contributors, etc.
It would be highly appreciated if anyone who wants to checkout https://newdesign.libreoffice.org/community/maps and tests the page. Of course, any feedback is appreciated as well as any bug reports. Please send these to the website@ list to make it easier collecting such feedback. Just a couple of notes, - entries can be added, edited and deleted, - the 'Date' field requires input in the form 2019-05-29, - the date inputted will be used as an expiry date meaning that the entry will not be visible after that date, - email address have to be confirmed before the entry is visible.
