I think we can do it on a project-by-project basis. I won't add any contact details by default, of course, but if someone wants to add their email address, that's up to them! For instance, I'm happy to make my pic clickable so that people can send me an email about marketing. In most cases I'll respond by pointing people to the marketing mailing list, for instance, but at least it's some personal contact at the start. At the moment, the sites have different approaches to attracting newcomers, so I don't think we need to combine them. But we should avoid duplication indeed.
