Participants ============ 1. guilhem 2. Brett 3. cloph Agenda ====== * find use for gimli“2” (2 vCPUs, 4GiB RAM, 1.5TiB storage) + gimli.tdf was migrated to tdf infra in 2017, but there is stale data there + externally firewalled (like gandalf), probably only make use to be used for a dev-oriented machine or tb + running opensuse + cloph: could use that for daily builds (moving that from gimli) + AI guilhem: add RRs for gimli2, upgrade if needs + AI cloph update jenkins job to point to that host * looking for a new DNS provider(s) + ideally based in europe, able to cope with DDoS attacks (prob anycast) which likely excludes smaller ones + DNSSEC is a must have (excludes hetzner) + can also balance over several providers (slave/master) + AI guilhem: keep looking * PiTR + Brett: mostly done, mass salt-initiated ssh key generation left + guilhem: isolation/hardening can be left to a later stage * tb68: + cloph: pro-bono so far, if we start being billed we should probably reconsider moving the bibisect windows to hetzner + guilhem: forgot about the ticket for the other one… at this point, makes sense to wait for their reply before asking for a replacement + Brett: deployed the CI box with centosOS 7 (need a little more work but should be done soon); also have an up to date macbook pro (A2141, 2019, 2.4 GHz 8-core i9, 32 GB DDR4 2667 MHz) lying around. Both machines will be prepped and information sent over to Cloph. * upcoming housing changes at Adfinis + cloph: could take tb84 at home for now, order one with a new chip once available and ship both at that point + with Brett's macpro though it should be enough + antares/beta (backup resp. git/gerrit mirror, TDF machines) most likely need to be replaced/upgraded * Next call: Mar 15 at 17:30 UTC
