What's perhaps confusing is that there are multiple projects with the same components. What you need to do depends on what you're looking for. What are you looking to build and on what platform? You've mentioned Coolstack a few times, that is a completely different thing from SFW and OpenSolaris Web Stack. If you're on Solaris 10 and want to get Coolstack sources, see: http://opensolaris.org/os/project/webstack/coolstack/ If you're on Nevada/OpenSolaris and want to get OpenSolaris Web Stack sources, see: http://opensolaris.org/os/project/webstack/files/ Don't mix and match instructions from the different projects as that'll only lead to confusion and failure... Once you decide what you're looking for, if the corresponding page is not clear enough, let us know what you find lacking and I'll improve it. BUT note that if you were looking for Coolstack I'd advise to wait a few days because the successor to it will be released soon, at which point we'll be updating the project pages with info on how to check out and build it. I'll be sending out info in a few days time (but don't have exact date right now). > I have finally found somewhere a reference to checking out > webstack-build, like so: You most definitely don't need that in any case (it is used for building the UI menu package). -- Jyri J.
