Sounds reasonable to me. MySQL 5.0 is still provided in order to allow an orderly transition to 5.1. As noted in the 5.1 ARC case, there is a manual upgrade process, so we can't require an immediate upgrade. However, the intent is not so much for users to run both, just to make both available so they can upgrade at their convenience and then switch. For the edge case where someone wants to run both concurrently it should still be possible but manual intervention (e.g. configure distinct ports and such) is reasonable.
