The SUNWphp52u package does depend on "SUNWxwplt", as seen in the depend file: http://src.opensolaris.org/source/xref/sfw/usr/src/pkgdefs/SUNWphp52u/depend The dependency is missing in the IPS version though: http://pkg.opensolaris.org/release/manifest/0/SUNWphp52%405.2.9%2C5.11-0.111%3A20090508T162708Z So looks it is caused by the IPS import scripts incorrectly ignoring package dependencies. -- Jyri J.
