You'll be pleased to hear then that net-snmp 5.4.1 is being integrated into SFW (planned for snv_118) as a replacement for SMA :o) We've bundled net-snmp 5.4.3 with cacti so we are able to move ahead immediately, problem is though we would probably need to bundle the PHP extension as well as we won't be able to build it otherwise. The 'bundling' though is purely temporary. I may propose that we move the net-snmp code out in to a separate /contrib package until the SFW version becomes available to SourceJuicer.
