Actually, the webstack repository is what's known as a "project" repository. It's analogous to other OpenSolaris projects posting their binaries either as compress tar files, or bfu archives and the like. The contents of such repositories is subject to disappear at will or change in incompatible ways. Note that there is work to make MySQL 5.1 available in the "dev" repository fairly soon.
