Well, I wouldn't want to guarantee that a fix will go in that quickly. For the version we in OpenSolaris, I think it would be easiest just to add the -R to the mysql_config in the local patch, and wait for the official version. Will this break any existing builds if we include this in the output? Actually, maybe more importantly, if the final output changes in the official builds, would that cause a problem?
