I am coming from the Linux world and am very glad to see that there is
a Web Stack for Open Solaris.

I am planning to add Webstack article in Wikipedia (and add it to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMP_Packages) . I need some
information regarding this.
I hope that I came to the right place.

* What is the primary goal behind Web Stack, is it to provide the IPS
(or pkg) format packages for Open Solaris

                         ====or======

To be a complete independent package with its own installer (like
Netbeans and other stacks have ,XAMPP, Apache2Triad) which can be
downloaded an installed separately. Likewise can I install any existing
stacks without interfering with system distributed packages if it
already has few components (for example Blastwave packages)?

*Is there any central interface to configure everything from MySQL,PHP
to Apache all together or do we need to know the configuration files to
do the task?
*What is the framework for extensions? Is there any support for
installing third party Apache Modules and PHP Extensions ?
*Where I can go to track the version information about the components
being used in WebStack ?
*What are the other features apart from the usual ones like, do we have
support for Forums, Blogs, CMS (In the form of shipped web apps and
integrated to management interface).
*What is the status of SSL support ?

Thanks
Kunal
