Everything in sfw is 'controlled by external organizations' since the
purpose is to make available third party open source components! ;-)
That alone doesn't define the stability.

The stability is not a reflection of who owns the project, it needs to
reflect what the expected stability should be going forward.

Certainly for all the components there's some educated guessing
involved since this community doesn't control any of them, but that's
how it goes. So far I believe everything (or nearly so) has been
Uncommitted.

Earlier in this thread mod_jk, mod_fcgid and mod_security were all
Uncommitted, looks like the latest proposal downgrades them all to
Volatile? What changed?

IIRC the earlier discussions supported at least mod_security and
mod_jk to be Uncommitted. mod_fcgid I'm not clear about one way or the
other and mod_dtrace was sounding like Volatile.
