Small correction...we will be supporting Apache 2.2.6.

Having separate packages makes sense if the mpms are offered as choices.
Also,  this mpm package will have just one file (httpd or httpd.worker) 
which is not recommended.

If we have to group them based on mpms, we can as well have additional
package for utility programs (like ab, rotatelogs). But this will 
increase the number of apache22 packages.
