Hi,
I would like some info on mod_memcached_cache
http://code.google.com/p/modmemcachecache/

This requires an external library apr_memcache from
http://www.outoforder.cc/projects/libs/apr_memcache/

The thing I am worried about is that, mod_memcached_cache has had
only a single release (On sep 7 - 2007) and seems like alpha - 0.1.0

more over, the library that it uses, apr_memcache is on 0.7, (ie not
into stable land yet) and has not had any releases after 04/14/2005
with just 2 releases before it.

Does any one (especially memcached folks) have any idea of the user-base
for mod_memcahed_cache module?

I would like to drop it if it is not very popular.

on distcache support, The --enable-distcache seems to modify mod_ssl to
make it aware of distcache servers, other than that, there is no
particular module or library to compile and load?

I would also like to know if this component is popular enough to warrant
including it.

                                    rahul
