Hi Ludo- What do you have setup for your default index page (in your apache configuration file)? If it's set for index.htm, and you file is called index.html, and you don't have directory listings enabled on the directory, you'll get this error. Just a thought. -John

I see that the mod_userdir.so module loaded in conf.d/modules-32.load file, but when I add a line: UserDir public_html in httpd.conf, restart and create a ~/public_html/index.html file, I get a "client denied server configuration: /export/home/ludo/public_html" error I guess I must be missing something obvious...A Google search gives me 100s of entries, and I still feel the need to ask the question to this alias:) Ludo (the non -apache guru-) _______________________________________________ webstack-discuss mailing list webstack-discuss at opensolaris.org http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/webstack-discuss
