This seems to have fixed it. Thanks very much! The problem with lighttpd is a bit different. I think it had stabilized after I removed these two lines from the config:
server.event-handler = "solaris-devpoll" server.network-backend = "writev" I am not sure which of those config files were causing the problems. I seem to recall this problem used to exist in Coolstack version of lighttpd as well, that's how I remembered this. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
