PHP in OpenSolaris does not currently support 64bit as noted. It's on the wish list, but has not seen enough demand or interest to prioritize it above other urgent work, yet. Certainly if you (or anyone here) is looking to use it, please let us know. That helps prioritize the limited hours towards what's most valuable.
