I found better way to achieve what I needet. I just put any extension into the /usr/apache/tomcat/common/lib folder.
You can define other common classload directorys in /var/apache/tomcat/conf/catalina.properties with the config variable common.loader. However I'm still not able to automaticly start tomcat at boot time. I try to use tomcat on the actual opensolaris community express edition b105. I also found no sun-tomcat5 / sun-tomcat6 package.
