How does our customer know about this ? If some one posts a question in
our forum through our jive and will he not wonder as to why no one
responded to his question ? If our Jive forum cannot reliably send mails
to the subscriber's Inbox - then should we not simply close the Jive
forum ?

Hmm.. I am not sure why every customer would want to subscribe to our
mailing list and be flooded with emails when he just wants answer to a
simple question or issue. The web based forum was particularly useful in
that regard - allowing users to post without requiring a subscription.
It is very unfortunate that no one has looked into fixing this issue for
so long..
