Considering that we are planning to integrate phppgadmin , phpmyadmin 
and possibly other admin tools, we should strive for a consistent 
integration that can make a sys admin's job little easier. Some of these 
will be definitely out of your scope. and I didn't mean to delay your 
integration. However, if we can all agree on how to provide a consistent 
integration of these tools that would be useful in the longer run+


- for example,
- a  common url with basic authentication enabled access these admin uri's
- ability to integrate the authentication mechanism with other auth 
databases like ldap
- possibly define a role to perform these administration tasks
