Hard to say, you seem to be doing everything right based on the high level details. We're building out of these sources continuously so it should work for you as well. Because this build failure is specific to Solaris 10 and not OpenSolaris, since this list is mainly for OpenSolaris, it's best to continue the detailed analysis in the Web Stack forum, which is for the S10/RH ports: http://forums.sun.com/forum.jspa?forumID=980 PHP has many dependencies, so a build failure in it might really be caused by a build failure earlier in one of its dependencies (see wsbuild/etc/components-Solaris10 for dependencies). I suggest start by building individual components, starting with wslibs, to isolate where first problems occur. You mentioned curl (in wslibs) having a problem, so that's the first one to resolve.
