The /webstack repo is for web tier experiments and tests.  Nothing in
there is, by definition, of "/release" quality. So, no.

We certainly welcome feedback on the components in there as it is
useful for making them better, but there's no expectation that
anything in /webstack necessarily works. It's just an engineering
playground for sharing things which might be useful (or not).

Looks like the default compilation included some platform-specific
optimizations suitable for the hardware on which the builds get done.

I don't have the bandwidth to try it right now, but the source is available:

% hg clone ssh://anon at hg.opensolaris.org/hg/webstack/nginx
