Hi Martin,
this is an interesting usecase, you should open an issue for that.
As a workaround, you can add following step before your 2nd <invoke>
<groovy>
step.webClient.credentialsProvider = new
com.gargoylesoftware.htmlunit.DefaultCredentialsProvider()
</groovy>
