I plan to try to compile WebTest up using Ant 1.7.0Beta2 and BSF 2.4.0. This is just an experiment. No plan to change anything just yet but if we want to pass feedback back to them, sooner would seem better.
If anyone has already done this, let me know how you went. In particular, the latest release notes read: Changes from Ant 1.7.0Beta1 to Ant 1.7.0Beta2 Changes that could break older environments: * <script> and <scriptdef> now set the current thread context. I am not sure if this implies a potential conflict with our use of the thread context.
