The online manual and the documenation bundle are both missing the descriptions
of "steps" in the links from the following pages:
./doc/info/manual/syntaxCore.html
/doc/info/manual/syntaxFilter.html
This means that there is no documentation on what the steps do, or which
parameters they can be passed. Quite frustrating for a new user.
