Hi Marc,

with a second try it works for me too: Firefox 1.5.0.3, Kubuntu ...

I don't know why it stuck the first time.

Hi Michael,

interesting. On my Firefox, I've just recorded:

<verifyText description="Verify that text is contained in the page"
text="Provides the ability to display 'static' information in report."/>

(from the testInfo page) without problem. Which version of Firefox do
you use? Do you use the latest version of the recorder?

Marc.

Hi Christoph,

the verifyText step is quite easy to write down by hand. The FireFox
extension writes the step on the Groovy-tab (I don't know how to use
this by myself).
But your right on the XML-tab nothing apears ;-)

Hi to all

I am currently trying to write test cases with the firefox extension
(webtest recorder).

Is there a way, I can create a verifyText step using this extension?
What does Right Click->Recording->Assert text mean? Cause I think it
is not working in the way I expected to. (There is no new step created).

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Christoph
