The simplest way to use WebTest from fixtures is surely to write the fixtures in Groovy and to use the AntBuilder. Nevertheless I've never tried it and I think that the way fixtures are executed may cause a small problem that would require an adaptation in WebTest. Are you sure that you want to use FitNesse? I'm not a FitNesse fan at all and I think that it makes only sense in very special cases.
