[Webtest] Extracting error message from a retry

Hi all,

When using a retry step to check for failure of a test, is it possible
to extract the "true" error message causing the retry to fail rather
than just failure due to say successful run three times. I noticed in
the results.xml file that the failure message would just show that the
step - "retry" failed and it never shows the particular error message of
the step that failed.

Any insights?
