Hi,
the generated report on the canoo pages is html ... and yes I was
referring to pointing the browsers to a xml file ... (not transforming
into html on the server) ... which is actually most probably connected to
this question by Thakkar, Sachin :
http://lists.canoo.com/pipermail/webtest/2007q3/008547.html ... Thakkar is
trying to do the same thing by adding the line he mentions he I believe
makes the browser do it on the fly .. but then Opera has got some problems
with their xalan implementation I guess ... :(
What would be a suggestion then? Doing the transform on the server side
and using the html output only ... ?
Then my question would be:
what is the best way to transform the canoo result output on the server
side?
Many Thanks,

Hi
I looked at the generated reports from <http://webtest.canoo.com/
webtest/manual/buildOverview.html> with Opera 9.22 on a mac and could
not reproduce your error.
Are you letting the browser do the xsl-transformation on the fly?
Best
dna

Even more strange ... Firefox gives me no problems ...
to be more precise as I did not mention some details in my first
question:
version of Opera is 9.10 and/or 9.22 (both give the same problem) ;
IE 6.0.2900 and/or IE 7.0.5730.11 are just fine ;
same with firefox 1.5.0.12 and/or 2.0.0.3 are also fine
also I missed the correct lines in the code (build R_1596) ... the
problematic part is on line 615, column 28 according to Opera console
.. sorry for the misleading info
Many thanks for any advice,

Similarly, my XSL works perfectly in IE, however gives the message
"Error during XSLT transformation: (null)" in Firefox....haven't tried
Opera for this yet.

Subject: [Webtest] redirect:write xsl problem in opera
Hello,
using the WebTestReport.xsl I have come across a strange issue ... the
result from the webtest is displayed just fine in Firefox or the IE.
The
Opera borwser however shows a "XSLT processing failed" message. The
detailed error is like this:
attribute at line 584, column 34
Error: invalid attribute
On this line there is a redirect:write command used ...
Any ideas on how to deal with this Opera issue?
Many thanks,
