VerifyText is expected to work if the content type
is plain/text (the same behaviour as if invoking a url
pointing to a plain text file). It would also work for
html or anything else that verifyText would work with.
If you are trying to filter on a part with a binary
content type (an attachment) then it would not be expected
to work. I guess the NPE is a bug if indeed this is the case.
