Hi, Thank you for the advice. But when I enter any date in the "mm/dd/yyyy" format (for example 1/5/2008) "Date" category is set by Excel by default. When I set "Text" category manualy (Format Cell >> Number >> Text) Excel displayes its serial numbers - "39452".
The only way to display dates as text I found is to set "Text" category for cell before entering the date. But this approach is not applicable for me because I need to enter many dates and it is not a good idea to enter them one by one. Roman, How do you convert dates to text? Do you enter dates in the "mm/dd/yyyy" format also (my app understends only this format so values in excel should be saved in this way otherwise some actions should be added to test to convert string to appropriate look)? Regards, Dasha.
