Has anyone else found that on MacOSX the Webtest Monitor window is not visible when you run an Ant build from within Eclipse? My setup is MacOS X 10.4 with Eclipse Ganymede (3.4.1, build ID M20080911-1700) running on Apple's implementation of Java 1.5.0. I had to upgrade to WebTest version 1730 to get it to run with that version of Java (I think 1720 may be compatible with Java 6 only, as I have heard that people ran it successfully under Mac OS 10.5). Eclipse VM args are (among others) -XstartOnFirstThread -Xms40m -Xmx256m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m.
I find that (after adding xalan-2.7.0.jar to the Ant classpath in Eclipse preferences or via the -cp switch on the command line) I can run the Ant build equally well from Eclipse or from the shell. The WebTest tests run in both cases and produce the same result, but the progress monitor is only displayed if I run the build from a shell. It is baffling and I would appreciate any help you can give me. ___________________________________ Consulting · Development · Integration Immo Hüneke Senior Systems Architect Zühlke Engineering Ltd<http://tinyurl.com/34mdeb> Marble Arch Tower 55 Bryanston Street London W1H 7AA United Kingdom Phone +44(0)870 777 2337 Mobile +44(0)7941 072 238 Fax +44(0)870 777 2366 ____________________________________ Zuhlke Engineering Ltd Registered in England Company No: 4103211 Registered Office: 25 Moorgate London EC2R 6AY This e-mail is for the addressees only.
