Hi Jane,
I do not understand your question - your issue.
May be you do mix up two different things:
the build.zip (on the download-page) is a.f.a.i.k. the latest webtest-build.
I do download this zip-file regularly to check my testcases with the new
webtest-code.
So doing so you can have many different versions of webtests in
different directories (backup-ed) on your local machine.
The other way is using the sources (svn) to build your own build.zip -
including your local changes (whats about sharing with the list?).
Our local changes so far are only some adjustments in the
WebtestReport.xsl to generate direct links into our issue-tracker-system.
yours

how to build and deploy canoo?

Hi,
Sometimes I need previous canoo build or customize canoo. But I'm not
familiar with ant building project.
I have trouble in deploy canoo. According to the manual of canoo, as follows:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. check out canoo previous build(such as R_1730) using svn(url=
https://svn.canoo.com/versions/webtest/R_1730/)
2. configure system environment. add <webtest_home>bin/ directory to path.
3. build canoo with ant.
command: "webtest full"
there will generate two main folder: build, deploy.
The folder of deploy contains lib of canoo(webtest.jar, webtest_T.jar).
The latest release build download from "Canoo WebTest Downloads" page and
decompression the build.zip file.
It contains the same set of files : bin/, doc/, lib/, resources/, tool/
We can create new project refer to manual.
How can we create this file structure by using canoo lib(webtest.jar,
webtest_T.jar)?
I think it only public canoo lib not deploy the whole files structure
Maybe it's a stupid question, but if you know please tell me.
THX,
Jane
