My query was how to not write the fully qualified name of html element and set its value.
Like if i have a textbox with id ="view:sub_view:form:text1" and i want to use it like this in setInputfiled. <setInputField htmlId="*text1" value="your-value"/> Please not i want to use * as a wildcard character in place of "view:sub_view:form:".
