You can also directly invoke the image URL and use <verifyContent> with a
reference file that stores the expected image. Here's a snippet of code to do
this:
<storeXPath description="get src url of the logo image"
xpath="//i...@id="myImage"]/@src"
property="customImageURL"/>
<invoke url="#{customImageURL}"/>
<verifyContent referenceFile="path/to/originalImage.jpg" />
<previousResponse/>
In the code above, I'm using an XPath which references an image tag on the
current page with the HTML Id "myImage", then grabbing it's src URL. Change
the XPath to fit your needs. After verifying the image matches the reference
file, Webtest returns to the previous page, so you can continue verifying
content.
