Hi,

debugging WebTest in an IDE is not really nice. Did you try writing the tests in Groovy? This has the advantage that IDEs have some Groovy support and therefore the setup is easier. Otherwise you have to configure your IDE to start Ant with the right parameters.

Cheers,
Marc.

Hi Webtest-Developer,

I started to examine the source of a failure inside the webtest-sources.

0. Identified an error inside my webtest-project

1. Downloaded the sources of webtest

2. Copied the example-files into the webtest-sources-project.

3. ->where ist he best place? Who do I start a single test?

I did checkout the sources and created a new eclipse-project (mvn eclipse:eclipse). Then I included the deploy/plain/webtest.jar so that the dependency to HTMLReportGenerator.groovy was resolved.

But now, how do I debug the sources to Identify the reason for the failure?

Any Help, HInt would be appreciated.

Thanks
