Yes, the webtest.bat file still has the wrong version of ant launcher defined.
The webtest.sh file has the correct version. Editing the webtest.bat file and
correcting the version should resolve the startup problem. I would be
interested in hearing what happens after that has been corrected.

Andre is correct. It doesn't work out of the box. I tried version 3 out of
the box and it needed a version number changed in the bat file dealing with the
ant builder that is run on windows when you run the tests. Otherwise it fails.
I think I've had problems with it after that too. I'll try it again on
windows 7, since I was upgraded recently, but I doubt it would work out of the
box for those reasons.

Dear Andre,

last time when I tried - a few weeks ago -it worked out oft he box.

Ok, not all example-tests were green, but the run was working.

So when you give it a try we should make it work and may be extend the
documentation on the manual site.

Cheers

Michael Habbert

Betreff: [Webtest] 6 is sufficient? and demo/product 3.0 does not work out of
the box.

Hi there,
So if I understand it correctly only six people would support the
product and that is sufficient? I can't argue as I've never was involve with an
open product or (teams).

Currently, the demo does not even work! I've read several time how to install
and run it and it does not work.
Either the product released version was not configured to run out of the box
because some version of file mismatch.
Or what is written on the web page is not valid anymore:
http://webtest.canoo.com/webtest/manual/install.html
I use windows.

I'm letting you know about the situation.
I've already tried 2 times last time with version 3.0.
I'm currently busy working on powershell scripts and not available to try canoo
again.
I'll ask when I'm there again. I

André

So =96 it seem that currently 6 persons could imagine to contribute. I th= ink
this already is a pretty good number.

I don=92t know yet, when I will be able to do the move to github and if there
is a coupling to the Cruise Control, because it may not support git= .

If Cruise Control does support git, things can be done faster and more step by
step, starting with the VCS migration.

If not, VCS migration and CI =96 migration (to Teamcity) have to be done
together.

This week and parts of next week I will be busy, but afterwards I hope to find
the time to start things.

So within the upcoming 2 weeks I hope to at least know more, maybe even will be
able to do the move.

I=92ll post any progress here.

Cheers,

Martin
