On Saturday January 31, 2009 Iraq held their FIRST election. Millions and
millions came to vote. For an Iraqi citizen to vote they had to pass through
a security check point. After passing that then they have to show proof of
identification (NOT ONCE BUT TWICE). Then they receive their ballot, fill it
out and then use their fingerprint as a signature to verify their vote is
cast by that person. So I guess between tight security and no "FUTURE PORK
BUDGET PAYBACKS" that is why ACORN wasn't active in the Iraq election. Let's
not forget that Iraqis now have a democracy and can now vote because of our
ARMED FORCES. Now here is a country that has their voting system set up
better than ours their first time out, and we have been voting for over 200
years. They looked at our process--LAUGHED--and improved it. You didn't hear
campaign promises for a year and they didn't spend a BILLION DOLLARS
campaigning. Maybe now is the time to look at a new, safe and unified set of
rules so that the whole country is voting the same way and MOST OF ALL,
WITHOUT CORRUPTION.

[I still say it's a smokescreen that we fought in Iraq - re making it safe
for democracy and getting rid of Hussein - all along it's been a plan to
keep the oil fields and pipelines safe and horn in as much as possible with
the multinationals and give fat contracts to their Halliburton buddies and
their ilk.]
