This week's troubles for Barack Obama’s Cabinet nominees have done little to 
dampen public confidence in the president. Sixty-five percent of Americans say 
they approve of the job he is doing, and 58% say controversies like the one 
surrounding Tom Daschle are “normal” when filling government positions.
