I think many jobs can be created simply by restoring the standards that were in place before the last administration took away all the inspectors, lab personnel etc and let these guys police themselves....
When you keep cutting government you cut all our safety protections because there are not enough people for the job to be done.....We saw a direct example when they required passports to go to Mexico and Canada....there were so many applications that the department was at least a year behind.....They finally hired a bunch of people after thousands were oked without any kind of check!!!
